Who are BHee?
The BHee project is delivered by Sussex Wildlife Trust.
The Sussex Wildlife Trust is the leading conservation organisation covering East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove. One of 47 local Wildlife Trusts working in partnership across the UK, Sussex Wildlife Trust is a registered charity supported by more than 33,500 members. They look after over 4500 acres of downland, woodland, wetland and heath. Their work also includes environmental education, working with land owners, businesses and local communities to conserve Sussex.
Sussex Wildlife Trust’s BHee Education Officer is Katie Eberstein. Katie started her career as a teacher, before developing and delivering Sussex Wildlife Trust’s popular Outreach Project. She has worked with schools across Sussex, delivering workshops in classrooms, school grounds and nearby open spaces, and inspiring pupils to value the wildlife around them. Katie is a trained Forest Schools Leader, and has extensive experience of supporting schools to develop and use their grounds for the good of wildlife and for learning.
