When? This event will now take place Wednesday 13th + Thursday 14th October from 10am – 2.30pm
Why? To provide inspiration and practical ideas to eco-committees and classes for climate action to implement during this next academic year
What? Join us for a day of environmentally themed workshops to inspire action by your eco-committee or class. Groups will rotate around the following workshops focusing on finding solutions, renewable energy, single use plastic, textiles and trees + biodiversity. Each session will end with action planning opportunities for your school.
By Whom? Workshops will be run by Rampion wind farm (renewable energy), Wild Coast Sussex (plastic and marine waste), Sussex Green Living (with their Inspiration Eco-Station, Tree Theatre and Wheel of Future Eco Gameshow).
For Who? The sessions are ideal for newly formed eco-committees however could also be suitable for whole classes. Each session will for a maximum of 15 students. For whole classes book 2 sessions.
Where? Outside Rampion Visitors Centre, near the i360. Please arrive by foot, bus or bike!
How? To book your FREE session, please email firstname.lastname@example.org stating number of children (multiples of 15).
What next? We’ll invite you to a follow up session in the summer term to share and celebrate your climate actions!
Covid – Groups from different schools will be kept apart throughout the day. All resources will be sanitized between sessions. Arrangements may change with updated restrictions.
