FREE sustainable fashion workshop

boy smiling and sewingLooking for a practical and engaging workshop to offer Y6 as a post-SATs treat or for upper KS2 as part of Arts or Eco Week?

This two-hour workshop starts with lively discussion of the environmental and ethical issues involved in producing the clothes we wear, and what we can all do to  make our choices more responsible. Pupils then upcycle old t-shirts into new items, learning practical sewing skills while using their creativity.

Brought to you by, this workshop was successfully piloted at the BHee Eco Conference 2016. The school only needs to provide access to a classroom whiteboard and scissors for the children to use during the upcycling; everything else will be provided.

This great session is available FREE to a limited number of primary schools in Brighton & Hove during the summer term 2017. Contact Julia Hart now to book your session.  (DBS Checked).
